DHAKA: In a major reshuffle, Awami League lawmaker Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir was made new Home minister while Sahara Khatun shifted to Post and Telecommunications Ministry.
The Cabinet Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan made the disclosure Saturday.
Jatiyatabadi Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President Hasanul Haque Inu MP was made new Information Minister and incumbent Abul Kalam Azad minister for Cultural Affairs.
Whip Mujibul Haque was given Rail Ministry, Mostafa Faruque Mohammed Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and AH Mahmud Ali was made minister for Relief and Disaster Management Affairs.
On the other hand, Dr Abdur Razzak was retained with Food Ministry and Rajiuddin Ahmed Raju with Labour.
Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain was made Minister of Expatriate Welfare Affairs.
Abdul Hye took the charge as new State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock, while Omor Faruk Chowdhury for Industries.
