HABIGANJ: One person was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between two trucks on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Bhargaon area under Nabiganj Upazila on Friday night.
The identity of the deceased, the driver of one of the trucks aged at 35, could not be known immediately.
Witnesses and police sources said a wheat-laden Sylhet-bound truck collided with a stone-carrying truck coming from opposite direction in the area at around 10:45pm, leaving one dead on the spot and three others injured.
Police sent the bodies to Sylhet Sadar Adhunik Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The injured were rushed to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
