SATKHIRA: A cattle trader was allegedly tortured to death by Border Security Force (BSF) of India Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Nazrul Islam, 42, son of late Amtej Morol of Debohata upazila.
Family sources said that cattle trader Nazrul was missing from Thursday when he went to buy cattle from India and on Saturday morning his body was found floating in Isamoti River under the upazila.
Debohata BGB company commander Subedar Sultan Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
A flag meeting held in this regard between BGB and BSF, he said.
