3 killed in Munshiganj bus plunge

MUNSHIGANJ: At least three people were killed as a passenger bus plunged into a roadside canal in Lalbari area under Serajdikhan upazila on the district on Monday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said the bus carrying around 40 passengers plunged into a roadside canal in the area around 1:30pm, leaving three people killed on the spot.

Of the passengers, locals salvaged three persons alive and recovered three bodies from the canal.
