PABNA: A youth was killed in a road accident in Tobaria Arman intersection area under Sadar upazila of the district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Anaf, 27, son of Abu Syed of the upazila.
Sources told that a rashly soil-laden trolley ran over him, leaving him dead on the spot.
Sub-Inspector of Natore Thana Jahangir Hossain told banglanews that the agitated mob blockaded the road. They held the driver and seized the killer truck.
The agitated mob also attacked two people of the trolley owner. Two police men were also injured as tried to protect the two men of owner.
Additional police were deployed to avert the untoward situation.
