54 Ruhingyas held in Cox’s Bazar

COX’SBAZAR: A total of 54 Myanmar citizens were held in special drives of police in Cox’s Bazar town Saturday.

Officer-in-Charge of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Thana Misbah Uddin Khan told banglanews that in order to develop law-and-order situation and prevent militants, police conducted special drives in Najirartek, Somitipara, Kutubdiapara and Fodnar Dail areas and held them.

He added: “The drive will remain continue and we have information that huge number of Myanmar citizens is in different areas of the district.”
