Govt lifts ban on 4 commodities

DHAKA: The government Thursday withdrew the ban imposed on export of chili, eggplant, onion and garlic to ensure smooth supply the essential in the market.

Commerce Ministry Thursday disclosed the information through a notice.

Earlier on July 9, the government has taken decision to impose ban on export of the four essentials in a bid to keep balance with the extra demand and supply during the holy month of Ramadan.
