NEW YORK: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said the present government has implemented a national education policy in order to make the new generation fit for facing the upcoming challenges.
He said, “BNP among all oppositions support our education policy. Even, the Islamic scholars also extended their support for us.”
He came up with the remarks while attending a reception jointly organized by Beanibazar Muktijoddha Sangsad and Muktijoddha Juba Command here on Friday.
Nahid said, “The main aim of our education policy is to inspire young generation to love the country by creating moral value inside them.”
Criticizing the former government, he said, “Those, who came in power using the name of Islam, did not build even a single madrasa in the country. But, the present government has set up some 1000 madrasas.”
