TANGGAIL: A youth was killed as a passenger bus crushed into his motorbike on Tangail-Mymensingh Highway in Pakutia Chamra Bazar area of Ghatail upazila on Saturday noon.
The deceased was identified as Anwar Hossain, 30, son of A Razzak, of Kaloha village of the upazila.
Ghatail Thana Sub-Inspector Ansar Uddin told banglanews that a Dhanbari-bound passenger bus of Binimoy Paribahan crushed into Anwar’s motorbike around 12:00 noon in the area, leaving him dead on the spot.
Police recovered the body, the SI added.
