JESSORE: A man was killed in a road accident in Kujada Bazar area of the district town on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Fatik Mia, 50, resident of Dhakuria village under Manirampur upazila of the district.
Jessore Kotwali Model Thana Sub-Inspector Borhan Uddin told banglanews that a motorbike knocked Fatik down while he was crossing road in the area, leaving him injured critically.
Later, locals rushed him to Jessore Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, he added.
