DHAKA: Two more persons were held for their alleged involvement in attacking on journalists of bdnews24.com, a news agency of the country.
The detainees are Imran, 22, and Yakub, 23.
RAB-1 Captain Ahmed told banglanews on Thursday morning, “A team led-by Major Mostaq conducted the drive in Nabinagar area of Savar and held the duo on late Wednesday.”
He said, they are being interrogated and will be brought in front of the media at around 11:30am.
Later, they will be handed over to the police after the press meet.
Earlier on Tuesday, three persons were arrested on charge of attacking bdnews journalists.
On May 28, at least eight journalists of bdnews24.com were injured following an attack of criminals in front of it’s Amtoli office in city’s Mohakhali.
