BRAHMANBARIA: At least 25 people were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers centering arbitration at Kusharpara under Sarail Upazila on Friday night.
Meanwhile, the villagers ransacked five to six houses.
The injured were admitted to Upazila Health complex.
Locals said villager Mizan Mia and Nishu Mia had a dispute over quarrel among their children. The two groups sat in arbitration on Friday night to settle the matter.
At one stage of altercation, they locked in clash with arms that left 25 people injured of both sides.
On information, police rushed in and took the situation under control through baton charge at about 11:30pm.
