PABNA: A day labourer was electrocuted at Choto Pathailghat and Dattakumri villages under Sathia Upazila on Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rauf, 23, son of Nuruzzaman.
Local Arif Hossain said Abdur Rauf and Shahadat Hossain came in contact with live wire of electric pump while working at one Anwar Hossain’s house.
Rauf died on the spot while Shahadat was injured seriously.
