FROM CIRCUIT HOUSE, CHITTAGONG: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia reached Chittagong Circuit House wrapping up her three-day visit to the Paschim Dipankpur Buddhabihar which was affected by communal attacks on September 29 in Ukhia.
Besides, the chairperson will hold a meeting with Buddhist leaders of Patia at night.
Later, she will leave for Dhaka around 10:00pm after the meeting.
Earlier, Khaleda left Cox’s Bazar Circuit House where she stayed overnight on Saturday.
Earlier, Khaleda started her journey on Friday afternoon, 41 days after the attacks on Buddhists by religious zealots.
She visited Ramu upazila where Buddhist temples and houses were damaged during mayhem.
Khaleda is scheduled to return to Dhaka on Sunday night.
