NETROKONA: A father along with his son was killed and two others injured in a clash centering dispute over possessing land in Durgapur upazila of the district Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Billal Hossain, 45 and his son Al Amin.
Officer-in-Charge of Durgapur Thana Alamgir Hossain said there was a longstanding dispute between Billal and Hashem, Sekandar and Harun group.
Their supporters locked into a clash in the morning, leaving Billal and Al Amin dead on the spot, and two others injured, he added.
The police official again said the bodies were sent to Netrokona Modern Hospital and injured in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
A case was filed in this connection, he added.
