SIRAJGANJ: Awami League presidium member and Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury said AL is not a pocket-born party and Sheikh Hasina is leading the party for public freedom and welfare.
The minister came up with the observation Friday in a conference of upazila Awami league at Belkuchi College ground of the district.
Matia said, “AL was never an undemocratic party and it is aimed at doing economic welfare of the people.”
The programme was also attended, among others, by Gazi Shafiqul Islam MP, district AL acting president Mostafizur Rahman, general secretary KM Hossen Ali Hasan.
