DHAKA: Opposition BNP Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque Monday said the government is observing an undeclared hartal centering mass-rally called by BNP-led 18-party alliance.
Though obstruction of vehicular movement, our activists and leader are coming Nayapaltan on foot to make the mass-rally a success.
He came up with the comment while talking to reporters in front of stage of rally in city’s Nayapaltan at 11:15am.
Farroque said, “Police commissioner permitted 18-party alliance to stage the mass rally verbally without any condition. But, policemen are disconnecting the wires of mikes in different areas like as March 12 rally.”
The people coming to the mass-rally are being harassed by setting up police check posts in different points. Police held many of them in different places.
