Hunger Games hits Cineplex

DHAKA: Hollywood blockbuster movie ‘The Hunger Games’ hits Dhaka’s Star Cineplex.

This 2012 American science fiction-action-drama and adventure, directed by Gary Ross, was premiered at the cinema Thursday evening.

The film is scheduled to be screen at 11:00am, 1:45pm, 4:30pm, and 7:15pm from April 20 onwards.    

Based on the novel of the same title by Suzanne Collins, the film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks and Donald Sutherland.

The film was released on March 21 in France and other countries and internationally on March 23 in both conventional theaters and digital IMAX theaters.

Expressing his happiness about the screening of the latest Hollywood movie for local viewers, Cineplex’s manager Mesbah Uddin Ahmed told Banglanews24.com that they earlier promised to screen latest Hollywood movies in Bangladesh.

Ahmed, who also works in Cineplex’s media and marketing division, added that they would continue the screening of latest movies in future.
