Exim Bank secretary threatens banglanews reporter

DHAKA: Exim Bank Secretary Golam Mahbub gave death threat to banglanews senior correspondent Sayeed Arman for a report on a Supreme Court order against the bank.

The Supreme Court declared the removal of three directors of Exim Bank illegal.

Sayeerd Arman received the death threat as publishing a report titled ‘3 directors’ removal illegal: Desperate Exim Bank chairman Nazrul’.

Sayed Arman is taking preparation of filing a general diary with police station against Golam Mahbub after receiving the death threat.

Golam Mahbub has made a phone call to Sayeed Arman at 4:41pm and asked the explanation of the report.

At one stage, he rebuked banglanews correspondent in indecent language and gave him death threat.
