GOPALGANJ: A teacher was killed in a road accident on Jalirpar-Muksudpur road in Gobindopur area of the district Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rauf Mia, 75, hailed from Moheshpur of Kashiani upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Muksudpur Thana Ferdous Hossain told banglanews, “A rashly driven motorcycle knocked Abdur Rauf down in the area, leaving him injured critically.”
He succumbed to his injuries on the way to Sadar Hospital, OC added.
