4 kids missing in Sylhet flood

SYLHET: Four children went missing as flood washed away acres of land in the district.

Besides, it is being estimated that the dead toll may be increased.

Confirming the matter Sylhet District Police Super Shakhwat Hossain told banglanews, the roads of the district are also destroyed in the flood but the situation is improving.”

Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Khan MD Billal told banglanews, “Only 39 shelters are still available amongst the 69 shelters in five upazilas of the district.”

Earlier, a child drowned in flood water in Jointapur on Wednesday and a tea garden worker drowned in Jaflong on Thursday.
