‘Safe House’ at Star Cineplex

DHAKA: A 2012 action thriller film, ‘Safe House’ premiered at Dhaka’s Star Cineplex on November 4.

This 115-minute film was released on February 10 in North America by Universal Pictures.

Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, among others star the film directed by Daniel Espinosa.

The Cineplex screens the film at 11:30am, 2:00pm, 4:15pm and 7:00pm everyday.

Filming took place in Cape Town, South Africa. In the story Tobin Frost performed by Denzel Washington, an ex-CIA NOC operative turned international criminal, acquires a data storage device from rogue MI6 agent Alec Wade performed by Liam Cunningham.

Attacked by a team of mercenaries led by Vargas (Fares Fares), Wade is killed and Frost is forced to surrender himself to the American consulate in Cape Town, South Africa.
