No incidents of occurrence in Ramadan: Sahara

DHAKA: Home Minister Advocate Sahara Khatun Wednesday claimed that they did not receive any hijack, looting incident in the country ahead of Eid.

The home minister came up with assertion while talking to journalists at her secretariat office in the city.

She said, “We have succeeded in every sphere except roads and highways’ renovation work.”

Earlier, a meeting was held presided over by Sahara Khatun to ensure proper distribution of daily essentials and maintain law and order during the month of Ramadan.

CC Cameras have been set up in different points of the city, including Sayedabad, Kamalapur, Gabtali and Mohakhali to ensure security for the home-bound people, the newsmen were told.

He informed that everyday some 2000 RAB personnel would patrol in the capital city apart from police to cement people’s security.
