2 killed in Natore Train crashes

NATORE: A woman and a minor were killed when two separate trains knocked them down in Noldanga and Gopalpur areas of the district Saturday.

One of the deceased was identified as Nurjahan Begum, 60.

Officer-in-Charge of Noldanga Thana Harunur Rashid told banglanews: “A train knocked a minor to death while he was playing beside rail-line in Noldanga.”

Officer-in-Charge of Lalpur Thana Motiar Rahman said, “A Khulna-bound Rupsha Express knocked the woman down when she went near rail line to save her goats, leaving her dead on the spot.”
