DHAKA: At least six people were killed and six others injured in separate road accidents in Chittagong and Moulvibazar Saturday.
Banglanews Mirsarai correspondent reports that three people were killed and five others injured as passenger bus crushed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Kalimandir area under the upazila of Chittagong district on Saturday afternoon.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Witnesses said a Chittagong-bound passenger bus rammed the auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction, leaving three people dead on the spot and five others injured.

Besides, three people were killed and another injured in a head-on collision between a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and a pickup van in Panidhar area on Baralekha-Kulaura road of Moulvibazar district.
The deceased were identified as Chuna Mia, 35, son of late Machddar Ali of Madatpur upazila, Aljan, 32, son of Pin of Gazipur village under Kulaura upazila and Junel Ahmed, 18, son of Shahadat Ali of Mouban area.
Officer-in-Charge of Baralekha Thana M Hassanuzzaman told banglanews that a pickup van collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Panidhar area around 12:00pm, leaving two people dead on the spot and two others injured.
Critically injured auto-rickshaw driver Junel and passenger Noman was rushed to upazila health complex where duty doctor declared Junel dead.
Later, Noman was admitted to Sylhet Medical College Hospital.
