Stocks showing positive

DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing positive in share-price indices on Thursday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index rose over 71 points to stand at 4,293 at 2:55 pm on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 76804 with transaction at Tk 2372 million. Of the issues traded, 227 advanced, 22 declined and 17 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 141 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,291 by gaining over 116 points at 11:58 am.

Out of the issues traded, 149 gained, 20 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
