DHAKA UNIVERSITY: Former leaders of the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) called upon incumbent Vice-Chancellor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique to step down if he fails to hold the union election.
The leaders came up with the demand while addressing a rally held at Oporajeyo Bangla premises on Sunday noon.
They urged the university administration to restore legal rights of the students by holding the election.
Dhaka Bishwabiddaloy Shikkharthi Odhikar Manchya (Dhaka University Students’ Rights Forum) organized the rally.
