Hili (DINAJPUR): Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel held eight Indian nationals, including minor and women from the Hili frontier of the district.
The detainees are Shibu, Lakkhan, Swarati, Nirangan, Darku, Sanatan, Sagari, and a minor Ajit.
All of them hailed from Pakua Thana under Maldah district of West Bengal, BGB sources said.
They intruded Bangladeshi border a month ago to meet their relatives without passport.
BGB personnel held them from Hili land port gate at around 2:30pm while they were going back to India.
Hili BGB Camp Habildar Khorshed Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
