TANGAIL: A person was killed and four others were injured in a head-on collision between a pickup van and a truck in Dobail area under Delduar upazila on Dhaka-Tangail highway early Sunday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Gorai Highway Thana SI Al Mamun told banglanews, “A chemical-laden truck collided head-on with a chicken-laden pickup van around 6:30am, injuring five people on the spot.”
Later, the driver of the pickup van succumbed to his injuries on the way to Tangail General Hospital.
