CHITTAGONG: A man was killed when a bus knocked down him on Chittagong-Cox’sbazar highway in Manasha Badamtali area under Patia Upazila early Friday.
The identity of the deceased, aged at 55, could not be known immediately.
Chittagong Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost constable Shahdat told banglanews, “A Cox’sbazar-bound bus knocked down the man in the area early hours of Friday, leaving him injured critically.”
Later, he was rushed to CMCH where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
The body has been kept at morgue.
