Golden Life Insurance sacks 21 officials

DHAKA: The authority of Golden Life Insurance Limited has terminated 21 officials for allegedly violating the company discipline.

The suspended staffs are additional managing director (development administration) AKM Shariful Islam, deputy managing director (HR and admin) SM Mostafizur Rahman,  deputy managing director (business development) MA Aziz Chowdhury, AMD (Bandhubima-1) Shamsul Alam, AMD (Mudaraba-1) MD Manjurul Islam, AMD (IPDS-1) MD Morshed Alam Siddique, AMD (Akkakbima) Samir Kanti Deb, SZMD (GDPS-1) Jashim Uddin, project in-charge (Takaful-1) MD Kamal Hossain, SVP (loan recovery) Wahiduzzaman Chowdhury, project in-charge (Mudaraba-2) MD Kabir Hossain, project in-charge (Takaful-2) Monirul Hoque Bhuiyan, project in-charge (Grihakalyan-1) Sheikh Monirul Islam, project in-charge (IPDS-2) MD Shahadat Hossain, project in-charge (Mudaraba-2) Ruhul Amin Bachchu, U (Takaful Akkak) MD Abul Kashem, JU (Bandhubima-01) MD Akbar Hossain, JAMD (Bandhubima-01) MD Badiul ALam Bhuiyan, SID (Akkak-01) MD Jashim Uddin and SID (Alfalah-01) Nipendra Chandra Dam.

The decision came from an emergency meeting of the management Board of the company on May 22.

Besides on Sunday, Golden Life Insurance published a noticed in a number of daily newspapers in order to inform their customers about the matter.

Earlier, a number of cases were filed against those senior officials for emblazing TK 20 crore from the customers.
