DHAKA: A high-level Indian CEOs Mission will visit Dhaka on July 20 in a three-day tour to further deepen economic and investment relations and strengthen trade and business ties between two neighboring countries.
Mr Adi Godrej, President, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and Chairman, Godrej group, will lead the business delegation.
The CII-CEOs Mission includes some of the most prominent names in Indian industry and has representation from a wide-range of sectors such as Agri-Business, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration, Automobiles, Education, FMCG, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Power and Tyres.
The Mission is follow-up of the meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Tripura earlier this year and will endeavor to take the initiatives forward.
It is expected that the meetings will provide an opportunity to identify potential areas of growth, enabling policy measures to achieve the objectives, and challenges that need to be addressed for optimizing economic relations, investment, trade and business-to-business relationships between the two countries.
India is looking forward to increase the bi-lateral engagement that will further facilitate this process.
This visit will provide a useful platform for key stakeholders to better understand the business opportunities that exist in two countries.
