City AL announces programmes

DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Awami League announced several programmes across the city to prevent Jamaat-Shibir.

City AL general secretary Mofazzal Hossain Maya announced the programmes in a meeting with its acting president MA Aziz in chair Sunday.

The programmes include protest procession in every ward on November 15, rally and protest procession in every thana on November 19, rally and protest processions in 16 constituency areas in the city on November 26, December 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12.

Besides, the City Awami League will attend the national programmes with central Awami League from December 13-17.

And later on December 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30, they will bring out protest procession in every thana of the country.
