Emirates appoints new airport Manager

DHAKA: Emirates has appointed AKM Junaied as the new Airport Services Manager for Bangladesh. He is a Bangladeshi national.

Junaied who recently held the post of Airport Services Officer- brings 23 years of industry experience to the post.

Junaied started his career in 1989 with a foreign airline. He joined Emirates in 2004.

Emirates’ Area Manager Bangladesh, Satish Sethi said, “The number of passengers is growing constantly in Bangladesh, which is a very important destination in our network.”

There is still more opportunity for growth. Junaied with his vast experience in the industry will surely help us grow in Bangladesh, he said.

Taking up his new assignment Junaied said, “It is an honour for me to take up the responsibility.”

He added: “I hope to work closely with the members of my team to improve our services further and make travel experience of our passengers still more enjoyable.”
