MEHERPUR: A fish-eater tiger was beaten to death by villagers in Naopara village in Gangni upazila Friday morning.
Local sources said villagers caught a fish-eater tiger early morning when it entered one Mojiruudin’s house in the village. Later, they beat the tiger dead and hanged it near the house.
No forest department official was yet to rush the spot.
