DHAKA: Bangladesh New Generation Party (BNGP), a newly founded political party of the country, Sunday announced its 111-member full convener committee.
Journalist and young politician Jahid Iqbal has been made the convener while Shamim Khan the member secretary of the party.
The authority of the party, aiming to bring positive changes in the political ground of the country, came up with the announcement through different social media.
Among others, Arif Nazrul, Syed Iftekher Alam, Advocate Tanveer Haider, Mithun Ray and Ali Akber were made the joint conveners.
Earlier, the party was launched on November 2. The launching programee was held at the hall room of the National Press Club at about 10:30am.
While introducing the party, the main initiator and convener of the political party journalist Jahid Iqbal said, “We have formed the political party for new generation in a bid to bring positive changes in the political ground of the country.”
He said, “We have already held talk with the Election Commission in this regard and soon will start our activities.”
The young politician said, “We will ensure people’s right of food, cloth, treatment and other basic rights. Youths from any corner of the country can join us through online and mobile phone.”
