DHAKA: A construction worker fell to death from 10th floor of a multistoried building in city’s Nikunja area on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Shah Lal, 25, son of Dulal Uddin, hailed from Nawabganj District.
His coworkers said he fell down from the 10th floor of the building around 3:00pm while working and was injured critically.
He was admitted to a private clinic in Nikunja and later was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 4:00pm.
The body was kept in the hospital morgue for autopsy, DMCH sources said.
National Developer Engineers Company is constructing the building, sources said.
