SYLHET: Laguage hero Abdul Haque passed away on Tuesday night at a hospital in the district town due to old age complications.
He was 85.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held on Hazarat Shahjalal (R) Mazar Mosque and will be laid to rest at the graveyard adjacent to the mazar.
He left behind his wife, one son, two daughters and host of relatives to mourn his death.
Abdul Haque, ex-general secretary Kendriya Muslim Sahitya Sangshad, was born at Ghorardap village under Karimganj district of India on December 1, 1927.
