DU MCJ Dept golden jubilee Thursday

DHAKA: The golden jubilee ceremony of Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) Department of Dhaka University will be observed on Thursday.

Marking the golden jubilee, a procession will be brought out from Aparajeyo Bangla at 10:00am on the campus, says a press release.

In this regard, a scholarship distribution ceremony will be held at Teacher- Student Centre (TSC) of the university at 12:00 noon.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique is expected to inaugurate the procession and attend the scholarship distribution ceremony as the chief guest.

MCJ Department Chairperson Professor Akhtar Sultana will chair the function.

The former and present students of MCJ Department were asked to attend the programme.
