DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Tuesday placed 50 activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir on several terms’ remand for police interrogation.
Three Judges of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court granted the remand plea when police produced them before the courts with remand pleas.
A total of 34 Shibir men were placed on 5-day remand in two cases filed with Motijheel Thana, 12 placed on 5-day remand in a case filed with Paltan Thana while four Shibir men was placed on one-day remand in two cases filed with Shahbagh Thana.
Earlier, they were held from different spots in the capital.
