THAKURGAON: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the incumbent government has cheated people by reconstructing the construction. Nobody is now safe in the country as the government has proved its failure in every sector.
He said, “The upcoming elections must be held under caretaker government. Our movement will be underway until our demands are met. It can not be stopped by keeping opposition men in jail or abducting them.”
He came up with the remarks while attending two separate meetings with Mohammadpur and Jamalpur UP BNP in the Sadar upazila on Thursday noon.
Later, he held two other meetings with Raypur and Rahimanpur UP BNP leaders.
On the other hand, more than 300 local leaders and activists of different political parties, including ruling Awami league joined BNP after those meetings.
