BRAHMANBARIA: At least 30 people were injured in a clash between tow groups at Jatrapur village under Ashuganj upazila of the district on Wednesday.
Police and locals said Zonaid and Tofazzal locked into an altercation centering hamd, nath (religious songs) in an annual orosh programme at the residence of Danu Fakir on January 27.
Later, Danu beat up Tofajjal randomly on Tuesday evening while he was walking alone.
On Wednesday morning, both the groups locked into clash following the previous enmity lat left 30 injured.
On information, police and local leaders rushed to the spot and took the situation under control.
Officer-in-Charge of Ashuganj Thana Golam Faruk told banglanews that additional police forces were deployed in the spot.
The situation is under control now, he added.
