GAZIPUR: Police recovered 2,500 bottles of phensidyl from a microbus which carries a sticker of Education Ministry on Kamarpara intersection on Dhaka-Mymensingh on Thursday night.
Police seized the vehicle but three passengers managed to flee the scene.
Confirming the matter, Gazipur assistant police super Md. Faruk Hossain said around 9:00am that the process is underway to file case.
Tongi Model Thana ASI Md Abdul Kuddus told banglanews, “Police signaled to a microbus on Tongi Station road intersection to stop. But the driver omitted the direction. Lastly, it was stopped on Kamarpara intersection but the driver fled away.”
Police recovered 2,500 bottles of phensidyl in 10 sacks from the vehicle.
