DHAKA: A three-day ’Asian Tourism Fair 2011 (ATF-Dhaka)’ is going to begin in the city on September 20 with a view to making common tourism-promotion strategies for the Asian countries highlighting their own unique regional characteristics, including panoramas.
The fair will organized by tourism magazine Porjatan Bichitra with asssitance of Bangladesh Tourism Board.
A total of 200 stalls, mostly from tour operators, airlines and leading hotels of 15 countries, would be erected at the venue during the fair “to showcase their services and other facilities to be offered for the tourists”.
Chief organizer Mohiuddin Helal said, ”The fair will focus on the prospect of tourism industry in the region to attract tourists from across the world to eye-soothing tourist attractions in the region.”
