NARAYANGANJ: A vegetable trader was stabbed to death by a gang of hijackers in Mijmiji Wapda Cannel area under the Sadar upazila in the district early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Masum Sheikh, 35, son of Faruk Hossain.
Siddhirganj thana SI Mamun Siraji said it is being suspected that a group hijackers stabbed him to death at about 2am while he was returning home.
On information, police rushed in and recovered the body.
