DCC south unveils Tk 1781 cr budget

DHAKA: Dhaka South City Corporation Thursday announced its budget Tk 1781 crore for the fiscal year 2012-2013.

M Zillar Rahman, administrator of DCC south, placed the budget at around 3:00pm at Nagar Bhaban in the city.

For the ongoing fiscal year, the corporation has set a Tk 459.18 crore revenue-collection target.

Apart from the revenue income, Tk 1,321.82 crore has been estimated from government, private, public-private partnership (PPP) and foreign finance.

Different senior officials of DCC south including its chief executive officer Sultanul Islam Chowdhury were present at the budget programme.

Earlier, DCC south has started its journey in December, 2011.
