Robi initiates in-house health week

DHAKA: Robi Axiata Limited, one of the leading mobile-phone operators in the country, has recently organized an in-house health week for its employees.
 
The health week was organized in collaboration with Aysha Memorial Specialised Hospital (Pvt) Ltd.
 
This week long event was inaugurated by the Chief Human Resources Officer of Robi Matiul Islam Nowshad.
 
He said, “At Robi, we believe in well-being of our employees and thus we have been taking initiatives for the health benefits of our employees.”
 
Nowshad added: “This time we have gone a step forward to offer specialized attention to identify physical discomforts before they deteriorate.”
 
A panel of specialist health consultants from the hospital was present, including Internal Medicine Specialist and Cardiologist, Dr MA Hasnat, Medicine, Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist Consultant Dr RN Majumder, Orthopedic and Trauma Specialist Professor Dr (Major) Abdul Mannan (retd), Dietitian Mahzabeeen Nahid and ENT Specialist and Head–Neck Surgeon Dr M Nasimul Jamal.
