Sayedee’s son among 4 held

DHAKA:  Detective Branch of police held Shameem Sayedee, son of Jamaat leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee, and his three associates from capital’s Uttara area allegedly for planning subversive acts.

The detainees are -- Mosarrof Hossain, Abdur Rashid and Habibur Rahman.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s media center assistant Commissioner Gazi Robiul Islam told banglanews that a DB police team led-by Assistant Commissioner Gobinda Chandra trailed the microbus carrying Shameem from Monday morning and at last picked up him with his three associates.

The policemen took them at DB headquarters to interrogate them, said the assistant Commissioner of police.
