3 robbers held in Bhola

BHOLA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) held three robbers with arm and ammunition from Shaympur Char under Sadar upazila on Friday evening.

The detainees are Jamal Uddin Soket, chief of Soket Bahini, his associates Helal, 28, 28, and Nure Alam, 30.

RAB-8 Deputy Assistant Director Moshiur Rahman told banglanews, acting on a tip off, the law enforcers held Soket and his two associates with a local pistol and four rounds of bullets.

They were handed over to the police station Saturday morning.

Soket was accused of several cases including robbery, extortion, arms and police assault.
