DHAKA: Opposition BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed alleged ruling Awami League believes in state terrorism.
“The government has bestowed President Award to the police official who attacked BNP chief whip Zainul Abdin Farroque which also proved that AL believes in state terrorism,” he said.
The senior leader of the party came up with the allegation while addressing a roundtable meet at the National Press Club Thursday.
Barrister Moudud said, “Awami League wants to establish ‘Bakshal’ like 1975, while Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is purchasing low quality weapons with high price from Russia.”
He added: “The Prime Minister concealed many conditions of the deal with Russia during briefing the press in this regard.”
